Bresslergroup wanted to launch a blog to grow its organic traffic, attract leads, and increase brand awareness. I spent a few months of discovery before starting to develop and fine-tune the blog’s focus, contributors’ list, topics, editorial calendar, and editorial and production workflow. We launched in August 2013.
Accelerator’s fresh weekly content about product design and innovation has led to major press hits, including in the New York Times, Core77, Wired, and NPR; visibility for the company’s thought leaders; invitations from industry publications to both reprint posts and submit original content; and has averaged 7,854 page views per month.
I continue to manage the editorial calendar and SEO strategy, and to collaborate with the strategists, researchers, designers, and engineers at Bresslergroup to generate and develop ideas. Day to day, I edit, write, and ghostwrite the content with the help of a team of fabulous freelancers.
